Default Check out this Snowy!

When I'm not hunting I deep drop fish in about 800 feet of water. Here's a shot of a 55 pound Snowy I caught this year The fish comes from cold water so it's got a nice fat content. I fish with 100 pound braided line tied off to a 400 pound 6 hook rig lit with a flashing neon light and weighted with 10 pounds of lead.

their some good eating, but after years of cranking in lines from those depths i prefer to be a little shallower.

LOL, when I fish for Snowy an Tile fish I use an electric reel It would be a tough job to pull that rig off the bottom loaded with fish from 800 feet. This is a pic of a typical trip out for me. In the mix are Tile Fish, Rose Fish, Snowy Grouper and a black tip shark.
