Looks like some great fishing, here they have a slot for keeping.. As follows, 1 fish between 20 and 26 inches and 1 fish over 40 inches...
They are fun to fish for though...

Went on the Seahunter out of Highlands 6/1.Here's 2 of 3 keepers. They rage from 32- 37". I was the only one on the boat with a trophy tag so I was able to take home 3.
Phil the rules this year are, 2 over 28" and 1 28 or over if you posess a trophy tag.

Thanks, most of them up this way are schoolies but alot of fun to catch. I will be doing some shortly although I have heard of someone getting a 40 incher in the Machias area. That could be just a rumor though but, I am not sure so I will have to check into it..

Anyone know if anythings running right now? I'm heading down to Ocean City NJ on Mon, and am hoping to fish the evenings and mornings.

Nice rock fellas, the stripers we've been catching in the bay are a little smaller now, but the blues are big and hitting hard!
