Try the Phideux with Capt. Jaime Reibel....he was out of Pirates Cove in Manteo, but is now in Wancheese (sp?). He runs a good operations and I have been out with him several times.
Oct. should be a good time- should have good shot at yellow fin. Be warned...they will wear you out...so keep an eye on your dad once he's in the chair.. Alot of captains may be booked already- if you can go mid week, you may stand a chance of getting an open boat. Also, check out fishpiratescove.com , reddrumtackle.com for some more local info.
Also a good time to do a little surf fishing...big spot, albacore, BIG jack crevelle, puppy and large drum are all there feeding. Tight lines...
