I have the RCBS set up,well worth the money. Accuracy is execelent and speed wise...I can drop 40 .300 RUM loads in 30 min.thats about 87.0gr of powder per load...

i used one...and by the time u seated a bullet in the last shell dumping 48.5 grs for my 30.06 it was about done....u can get perfect accuracy...if a little to much comes out remove a few grains...to less hit the dispense button a few times till its where u want it...it was simple! i used an rcbs also...i think if u load alot it would be a great time saver!

I use the RCBS setup and it realy speeds up the prosses of reloading. You can press "dispence" on the powdermeasure and its +\- 1 grn accuracy you can seat bullets at the same time. Well worth the money. Just make shure you seat the bullets on a different work station, the vibration could knock the scale or measure out of calibration.

thanks for the replies. It sounds like something I should get. Now just have to convince the little wife that yes I do need a 350 dollar piece of equipment to replace the something that still works(is just slow). of course it is hard for me to turn loose the money as well. Heck could buy a decent muzzleloader for that. decisions, decisions. Thanks again

I have a Pact Electronic Scale (works great), but no automatic powder thrower. I enjoy throwing charges with a powder measure. Good luck.

Well I broke down and bought the RCBS system. Loaded about 20 rounds for my 270 weatherby Saturday. I really liked it. Easy to set up, quick, and allows me to work on brass etc while it was throwing powder. Expensive addition to my reloading equipment but I like it.

Gone_Huntin- I have the Pact scale and dispenser. (RCBS & Pact are one and the same, I believe). I concur with the other posts on its ease of use and accuracy.
I believe it is a time saver, and like the other posts, when you've seated this one, the next one is ready. This, for me, puts me in a rhythm that allows for accurate, safe reloading.Well worth having.
