I bought a digital scale a while back, but lately it seems to bounce around too much for my tastes, and I don't like using it. I want to get another balance scale.....should have never gotten rid of my first one. [:@]
Any suggestions.

My son bought me a spiffy RCBS digital scale a few years ago. It never did work right. Went to a Redding balance beam scale that works just great.

BC, I have some triple beam Ohaus scales that were confiscated from drug dealers and sold at auctionbefore I retired from the Sheriffs dept.

I have an RCBS 10-10 and works great. I have considered getting a digital but every time I do I hear more negative then positve things so I just stick with the Beam.
I have a question for the 505 guys? I was given a 505 last month, it was missing the leveling foot which I phoned RCBS and they sent me a replacement free of charge. (great CS
). Anyway the scale will not zerovia the foot, I need to shim the backto get it to zero. Obviously without the foot it also requires shiming.
I assume this isn't normal, so should I send or just shim it to zero? I have cross referenced it with my 10-10 and it is right on. Thanks
