banned lead fishing products and trying to ban lead in electronic products,
home plumbing,toys and anything that contains Lead.
The state leading the way is California and if it passes,
it will start comming East, state by state.
All they have to do is BAN the lead mines.

You think ammunitions companies don't know this?
I see them going to solid copper, like many companies already
have started.

I'm not in thier favor, by no means!
But it is comming sooner or later.
I,m just trying to be open minded about it.
IMHO, I see it comming.

I'm not open minded about anything much. We've used lead since guns were invented. Its still in use in fishing here in TX. Plumbers still use it. Its still used in sign painting. The lead shot thing is a total BS thing done by antihunters.

I won't be openminded about it and I'll da*& do anything I can to stop such stupidity.

I do not consider Kalifornia a part of this nation either. Its full of nuts and fruits and for the folks that live there I feel sorry for them but I'd move out.

OTOH I normally use all copper bullets anyway. But not due to the lead factor.

I'm about sick of this country trying to be run by a bunch of non renewable resource tree/bunny hugging idiots with nothing better to do and an agenda. You sure don't see them out in nature trying to help in reality.

Bottom line to me is caving in to the lead issue is like accepting a stupid assault weapon ban and other very similar issues. When they come for you no one will be left to speak up for you. For history repeats itself again and again.

Like who??? I only know of two companies that make a copper bullet, Barnes and lost river ballistics..........



so if they ban lead altogether does this mean all the overseas products we buy here will be banned too? since countries like china and taiwan have different standards and still use lead in almost all of their manufacturing.

might not be a bad trade id almost give up lead bullets, if that would keep that made in frickin china crap out of our retail stores.

You can thank the Liberal bleeding hear Mothers,in the state of confusion were i live started all this lead crap.When there kids got sick eating lead paint off the wall in the projects wre they lived,and getting sick. Thats what started all this lead jazz scare years ago and it progressed to this.Wait till they really get on the band wagon with the fisherman next,more than they are about fishing weights. vangunsmith

when i was a kid i would bight down on a lead split shot sinker to pinch it on my line, i did that for years even into my teens. it never made me sick. Im tired of the liberals trying to protect us from ourselves, shoot we have to die from something LOL the libs wont be happy untill everyone just sits at home and does nothing what kind of life is that? Yup, me too.

Not to mention the hundreds of millions of people who have LEAD amalgam fillings in their teeth that slowly lech lead into the body.

For the crazies, if they aren't complaining about evil conspiracies about Fluoride in the water killing their children, they are complaining about lead lead bullets some shooter is using at a distant range, all the while they don't even realize that they have 15 lead fillings in their teeth that were rotted because they refused fluoride treatment:D
