I have a lot of 8x57 and now more recently 7.5 swiss berdan cases that I've saved. I'm considering reloading them.
Can anyone reccommend any tools or methods to decapping berdan primers?
Does anyone have a source for berdan primers?
Do you need any special tools to reprime berdan brass, ie a different sized priming pin?

I have never loaded Berdan primered brass, but RCBS sells the tools to accomplish the task, and www.grafs.com sell Magtech # 56 Berdan Primers. Good luck.

You know, I still find it interesting that the Berdan case was developed in the US but for a long time, was almost exclusively used in Europe... and the Boxer case was developed in Europe but is the standard in the US...
