Anyone ever used Barnes 115's for 243??

I bought some at a auction and tried them but wasn't impressed with them .We only paid $6.50 a box for them . I use the 85 gr triple shocks in my 243's and they work great on deer .

Due to the weight/length issue, I'd suspect you'd have trouble stabilizing them. Never used them but unless you have a faster than normal twist I would try something a bit shorter/lighter first

I'd imagine they'd work ok in a 9" twist like Rem used in their 6mm. I've gotten decent accuracy with Speer's 105 in a 10" .243, just didn't like the terminal performance. I've moved on to a larger caliber so haven't tried anything new.

how do u think they would work in a 6mm rem im not sure what the rifling is it's a remington model 7 youth which they quit chambering quite a while back?
