I can certainly see challenger presses breaking as they are pretty cheaply made, but not a Classic cast.

The RCBS partner press has a aluminum frame which is not quite as rigid as the lee challenger presses aluminum frame from experience the partner press frame twists when full length sizing 30-06 cases the lee challenger presses frame doesn't twist when doing the same operation but I have heard of the aluminum linkage on the lee press breaking so thats not news to me. atleast the RCBS partner press has steel linkage so you wont have to worry about that happening. either way dont waste your money on either of those.

Classic Cast is a good press l in fact it has some really nice features. The RCBS Rockchucker is a very good press as well. I don't know a thing about a Lee challenger or an RCBS partner but I can tell you they look cheap.

ORIGINAL: Briman

RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme is a better press

B: spit decapped primers all over the place.
I bought a brand new Rockchucker and it has a spent primer catcher now, its a little black triangular shaped system that directs them into a tray on each side. (I will still get 3 out of 100 that fall on the floor). Not trying to bust on ya Briman, just letting you know they have updated them. Cant comment on which is better, Ive only owned one, and its been great.

I had the same problem with my RCBS Rockchucker Master Reloader spitting out primers. I now use a piece of cardboard around the inside of the catcher, it keeps the primers from flying all over the place.

I have three Lee presses and I also have the rock Chucker press. The rock Chucker is a stronger press. I have the lee turret and the 1000 progressive. The lee presses aree plenty stout and I could do all of my roading with them. I use them all but use the lee for pistol loading mostly. Lee makes pretty good stuff. Its always worth the money.
