Everybody I talk to has negative things to say about them. Sorry i couldn't really give you an honest answer. I do know the wsm are a fine shooting bunch i particularly like the .270 wsm

I considered the 25 WSSM for several months but three days ago I bought a new 25-06. The WSSM just can't quite match the long version. It would however be real close and for some the short action might be worth it. They perform well. I have friends who have used them. No first hand expierence though.

I had the chance this last weekend to shoot a new Browning 25 WSSM topped with a Monarch scope. It is a sweet gun. Lightweight and easy carrying but extremely modest recoil. It was also very accurate. The only downside is that it made me want one.

I was dissapointed with it when i got one I thought it would be as goods as my buddies 25-06 I was wrong in all honesty it was no better then my 243. I traded it off for a 25-06 if you have a benchmark for performance you have to go with the real McCoy.
