how much powder do i use??

ok i have a problem here..i have a nef huntsman 45 cal...i have been doin some reading on it and it says that you want to start out shooting a grain for every caliber..which i start out 45 grains for the 45 caliber right..ok so im gonna be going hunting next week and i dont know how much powder to use..can anyone help me here??

id go with 80 grains of pyrodex thats seems to be pretty good for power and accuracy in those 45's you can move up a bit but I wouldnt use anymore then a 90 or 100 grain charge even if the gun is rated for a magnum charge.

don't know about the NEF but in my 45cal Encore I shoot 2-50 grain pellets, 100 grains and it does well... if I want a little more thump I drop in another 30 grain pellet... never could get any good accuracy with the 150 grain loadings though... try 2/3rds of the max recommended and see how it shoots... go from there...
