I've always used RP brass with no problems. I buy virgin brass in bulk and load it over and over many times and it seems to last forever. I agree that you shouldn't use mixed headstamps and if your finicky you can sort by weight. I've tried sorting by weight but i've never seen an improvement in accuracy by doing this so i don't do it any more. Maybe i've been lucky but the RP brass i've used has been very uniform in weight. I've found that i get my best accuracy by juggling components and playing with seating depth more so than worrying about my cases.

Don't you guys aneal the necks in your old brass your trying to make last forever????? Actually, i don't care to keep useing my brass that long, but i would if i had too.
All i can say is, Norma made all the 240 Wby brass i have, and it sure isn't anything to brag about!!! SOFT, and i just don't like it!!
Push Norma brass a bit, and the primer pockets get loose too!

I like Winchester Brass best. I have used Norma brass and It was the best stuff I ever used. Costy though. When I firdt started loading the 6.5x55, Norma was the only brass I could find. That was back in the early 70's I am still using a lot of that same brass. Winchester seems the best to me FOR THE MONEY.
