RCBS power station (powered trim mate 5 station)
Anybody have one? Use it? Do you like it?
I was given one 2 years ago and haven't gotten back into my loading yet. Was wondering if there were any users of this tool that could shed any light on advatages or disadvantages....perhaps saving me some ruined cases.....Although I know there is no teacher like experience.

I got one as part of an estate deal. Didn't see where it would be useful, but I was wrong. Great for cleaning primer pockets, removing primer crimps, deburring case mouths, etc.

I was concerned that it might be possible to "overdo" it on some steps b/c of the powered issue. Anybody have any problems with the auto rotation getting away from them and cutting primer pockets to deep....or anything like that......

Rotational speed is not that fast...geared for torque, not speed. The primer pocket trueing cutters have stops that will not let you over do it. I guess you COULD put a knife edge on your case mouths by really bearing down on them and holding the case there for 30 to 40 seconds. You would have to do it on purpose, though.
