Hi,I'm thinking of loading up some 375 Winchester loads for whitetails.Anyone out there have any experience with either the 200gr Sierra Flat point or 220gr Hornady bullets???Thanks.

I've yet to hunt with my Marlin 375W, but on paper it likes both. You can squeeze a little more velocity out of the Sierra 200's, but for the range these guns are meant for, velocity isn't really the issue.

Wile, it appears that there's very few folks here with experience with that caliber and those bullets since there's no replys with the experience you want. I'd suggest the Hornady bullet solely on my prejudice for their bullets over Sierra.....frankly either should serve your needs nicely.

While I dont use those bullets in a 375 Win., I do use them in a 14" barreled Contender chambered in 375 JDJ. The ballistics are about the same ie. 2200 ish for the 200-220 grainers. I have taken quite a few deer and hogs with the Hornady's, they shoot great and have performed well. As Vapodog already posted, either bullet will do on deer.
