Default Grains conversion

Hey,
Just wondering if anyone out there knows the conversion factor between ounces to grains. The reason for this ? is that I want to figure out how much a 1oz slug weighs in grains. Thanks.

Hi SC,
There are 15.432 gr / gram and 28.3495231 grams to the ounce so a 1oz slug weighs 437.5 grains.

There are 7000 grains in a pound, and 16 oz. in a pound. 7000/16 = 437.5 grains.
