As before i am new to reloading, so i have no idea what is good and what is bad.

This is not real high quality stuff but its a very good way to get started. I think Midway USA has this kit for about 70.00. It will give you a good start and you can upgrade as you go. I bought my son one of these kits and he has had good luck with it. The powder measure is not the best but again It will do the job. I use mostly the lee dippers anyway and thats after 40 years of reloading. I have a good RCBS powder measure but I have never found it since I moved last time. I use mostly RCBS equiopment now but Would not suffer If I had to go back to the Lee stuff. Good luck. Welcome to reloading.

I have to agree with the others, the quality is not that great. I would spend the extra money and get something that will last a lifetime...[:-]

This is the kit I started with. I would shop around. I got mine at a local shop for less than this and had no shipping!

If you only intend to load a limited amount of rounds this kit will work fine.If you intend to load many rounds and want a kit that will last a lifetime look at the rcbs rockchucker.

I've used that press for many years ; I just upgraded to a Rockchucker ( this after 20 years of reloading) I would recommend that press in a heart beat ... I really don't like the LEE scale ( though I've no first hand experience with it) I use an RCBS 5-0-5 scale and I also use the LEE powder dippers some LEE dies as well as Lyman and a few from RCBS. Good luck with the hobby. One thing Iwas told before I spent a dime on any equipment was to get a manual and read it ( there's a section on how to reload .. I started with a Lyman manual) then aftre you've an idea of what you need then buy. I've looked a the Lee data book and wasn't real impressed. My sugestion for your first upgrade is a new manual Lyman is a good one as are Hornady, Speeer, Sierra

If you buy a RCBS rockchucker now you'll not have to throw away what you have bought now and buy the rockchucker in the future. I truly encourage everyone to buy it right the first time.

Bought my Lee press in 1983, still putting out great reloads. Best deal for the money. I load 8 different caliburs all lee dies except one set. ( picked up a set of redding .444 dies at a yard sale.

Icelander you can buy the same outfit from www.midsouthshooters.com for $73 and change . I have used quite a bit of Lee's equipment and I haven't had any trouble with any of it . As the others have said its more like driving a chevy than a cadillac but it gets you from point A to point B .
