Take a look at a couple of differant reloading books and see what they rec. I do typically use RL22 or RL19 in most of my guns. Fed. Primers , and Winchester casings. But thats what works for me . Really depends on your rifle and cal. that you are reloading for.

I use (in order of burning rate) IMR#4198,AlRel#7,IMR#3031,IMR#4895 and IMR#4350 powders in:300Sav,30/40,7.65Argo and 30'06 cartridges. The slower powders generally go with heavier bullets. My 30/30 uses all of the above except for the IMR#4350 powder. My 45/70 uses all but #4350 and #4895 powder.
One reason that I use a wide range of powder is that I shoot both jacketed and cast bullets.

Some guns are fussy about what they eat. I've been lucky. I use IMR 4350 in my 7-08, .270, 30-06 and 300 Win Mag with good results. My 223 lies IMR4895 and I use 296 in my .44 mags. Thats about it.
