Alliant RL16 for 280Rem?
I'm getting the bug to reload again for my 280Rem shooting either Hornady 139gr SST or Nosler 149gr BT's. I see on the internet most guys seem to like RL19 or RL22. I've never heard of RL16, yet on Alliant's website, RL16 is what they recommend. Has anybody ever tried it? In the past, I've always used 57gr of H4831SC with Federal 210M primers and always got good accuracy and all the deer I've ever shot with that load never went more than30 yds. But this year I thought I would see what new powders are available and what people are using these days with their 280Rem and try something different.
Thanks for your help

Ive not yet tried RL16 but in the 280 Ive used, I used 51 grains of IMR 4831 under a 162 grain hornady #2845 bullet for mule deer with good results.
