I'm getting a T/C Encore Pistol (15' barrel) in 7mm-08 and all I know is I'll be using 140 gr bullets (Nosler?, Barnes?, Hornady?) and probably RL-15 for powder. But I'm not sure if I should be loading rifle info or handgun? It's a rifle round, but in a pistol platform. Anybody have one of these (any cal.) and has some advice would be very helpful.
Share your favorite load data also. Bullet choice, powder, load, brass, primer, OAL/jump?

Hornady has data for T/C pistols as well as rifle data and it basically the same some powders show 1/2 gr. less for one or the other. Just start on the low end like you would with any load work up.

I only load for a rifle and 120 Nosler BT's with 45 gr. Varget is my favorite but I did use 47 gr. H4350 and 140 gr. Barnes TSX bullets for a bunch of deer.
