Bullet seating and ogive
#1
Looking at some of the popular hunting bullets for my 30-06 got me thinking about bullet seating and ogive's for bullets that are close in weight i.e: 150 and 165 grain NABs, SST's, TTSX, etc.
I realize one of the better ways to set up your bullet seating dies is to set the depth for each bullet you use and keep an empty with a bullet seated.
Not real fond of changing my seating dies all the time
and wondered if your style is similar say 150 and 165 NABS (to keep it simple) are the ogives close enough that you would get similar overall length? Any idea's where to get ogive info on bullets? Didn't remember seeing it in any of my manuals (Nosler, Hodgdon, Lyman)
Looking for hunting grade accurarcy (1 1/4" or less 3 shot group @ 100yds).
