Default Problems with Unique?

Hello all. Newbie reloader here who is getting ready to load his first cartridges this weekend.

A quick question. I read that the RCBS Uniflow has problems maintaining consistency when using Unique. Has anyone experienced difficulties with Unique and the Uniflow?

Thanks!

I have thrown loads of Unique with a Uniflow for many years and never have had a problem. Unique flakes are easy to throw if you use the same amount of force on the handle each time. I work the handle fairly hard (make it go "clank") when throwing flakes to help the powder to settle into the chamber consistently. I always weigh a charge after throwing ten or twenty charges, and weigh every charge at that interval during the reloading session.

Look at the charges before seating bullets to avoid double charges, and keep away from maximum loads.
