Default getting started.

Hey all, I'm new to reloading. I have a basic idea of the things I need. I have my eyes on the Lee Classic Turret Deluxe Kit from Midway USA. I ave purchased a set of dies[Lee Deluxe 9mm four die set]. I know I need other things. I have read the sticky post here. I plan to be up anunning in a few months[no nee to rush]. I have a good line on brass. The local scrap yard takes in bass from 3 diffeerent ranges and will sell them for 3 bucks a pound. I need to know what you guys think I shoud be doing or not doing other than purchasing the listed materials. I would also like to get an idea of where get the other components at a good price here in Columbus Ohio. Also, do you think that 3 bucks a pound is a good price? Thanks,Chip

Firstly, get not 1 but at least 2 manuals. I like the Lyman manual as a good basic how to. Read them and then read them again. Information is the key and is readily available on forums like this and others.

The Lee Deluxe Turret kit comes with the Lee reloading manual. My plan was to pick up the Lyman or Speer manual as well. I won't be getting to fancy at first. I will be loading pistol roundsfor target shooting. I am starting with 9 mm and then I will move on to 45acp. Once I get my feet wet,I may try .223 or 22-250. I have family members that shoot 40 cal as well. I'm sure ,after a while, I will start loading that too.
