Well here is my first attempt at loading slugs. 525gr Lyman 12ga
AA Hull
win 209
23gr Unique
My crimps sucked. Still trying to learn how to setup proper crimping.
Its ok, but have no idea where the change of POI came from.
I think I can do better with proper seating and crimping.

With slow moving projectiles such as slugs, the vertical POI can easily vary with integrity of the crimp....
Are you roll crimping?
IMO crimp uniformity is a semi critical issue to slug shooting.

No, I was told not to roll crimp with lyman slug. Data was for fold crimp. Never did get a roll crimp. Figured I would when I try hammerheads and bluforce slugs.

Yea, I got to work on it. I have been buying these slugs from gardners, because I still don't cast. So I bought 25 to try. And didn't have enough to get it dialed in.
Can you adjust the cam way out and go back in over and over til you get it right?

You mean recrimp the same shell over and over till its right? I don't think so but I've never tried it. It is pretty much a try it, and adjust it process. With mine, it is common to wreck a couple till it is right.
