7mm Rem Mag with 200gr bullet?
Anyone have a load for a 200gr bullet out of a Rem Mag? Wildcat has started production and will send me some to try out, just not sure where to start on the load to see if they will stabilize or not...

180g is the largest here:

You'll probably want to start with Retumbo or IMR 7828 SSC, with Magnum primers. And work up slowly

I re-checked mine and its actually a 1/10 twist...but they are curious if they will work so they are still going to send me some to test for them...

ok, don't think you'll get them to stabilize, When I first got my 7mm AM, which I ordered in a 9 twist, a guy walked into Richards shop, (the previous owner of wildcat bullets) and requested 2 box's of 200 gr 284 bullets. Richard asked him what he shot them in, the guy replied a 7mm STW, with a 9 twist. Richard said they wouldn't fly without a 7 twist, the guy replied that he'd shot 2 box's he'd got from a dealer and they did fine.
I soon got an email from kirby, requesting me to test some in my 9 twist, loaded to 3100 fps to simulate a STW load, they shot well but they got better at 3350, so you'll get say 2850 from them, not that loaded to mag length?? Wish ya luck, keep me posted and Send me the leftovers if they won't fly!!
