You'll probably want to start with Retumbo or IMR 7828 SSC, with Magnum primers. And work up slowly

DD, thats the plan, they are a hunting bullet and will expand but the jacket is heavy to withstand impacts at high velocity, I had a few for testing once and they shot well, think the BC is upwards of .9.
IIRC, I was running them almost 3300 fps, and they averaged .8" groups at 300 yards.

Have you done the math of .8 inches at 300 yards, because I think every hunter on Earth will buy that ammo if it can do it from less than a $5,000 rifle..

Well they didn't stabilize out of the Rem Mag...so it looks like its time to upgrade!!
