I have reloaded many different types of bullets in my 308, 30.06 and I have found that the standard Hornady interlock bullets are the most accurate with the Noslers very close behind. But I have only reloaded about 1500 center fire cartages in my life time so there maybe more accurate bullets out there that I just have not got around to trying out yet but for the money I trust Hornady.
PS, The last 10 whitetails I have shot they all were taken with Hornadys.

Old O6,

I just weighed 5, 154gr 7mms, heres what I got:

153.6
153.2
152.8
153.7
153.5

I dont care though, they shoot very accurate in my 7-08 ,and I dug one out of a rotted stump, and it mushroomed nice.

Wow, you think that is rough, start casting your own. You will then gain an serious appreciation for how close the tolerances actually are in a Hornady or any mass produced bullet are. I enjoy casting bullets, but it really does take hard work and discipline to get it right. Out of the Sierra, Winchester, Remington, Speer and Hornady bullets that I have bought and tried for the different calibers that I shoot and have loaded for, I think that the Hornady's are the best bang for the buck, with the Remington Core Lokt's coming in a distant second.

My dad complained about Hornady's too . Back in about 1972 he and 1 of his loading buddies weighed full boxes of bullets from Serria Hornady Speer and Nosler in 257 and 308 and concluded that they were all within .5 gn of each bullet in that box and within 1gn of what they should have been . After all that we shoot 308 Hornady's 257 Noslers 224 Serria's 357 Speer's . All shoot an inch or so and the Hornady's shoot about 100 fps faster than the book says .
