I called Hornady today because I wanted to load for the aforementioned rounds and they said that there were none for the .454 and the 44 magbullets were due out in the fall. The .452 diameter 200 gr. flex tips are too long they said. The 250 gr. ones are for the 450 bushmaster. And the .430 "are not for the .44 mag" they said. So just a note to you guys that got excited about it like I did. Even had them in my shopping cart right before I called...lol.

What are the .430 ones for? .444 Marlin?
I have shot some flex tip .44 mag factory loads. I shot them in a revolver because they were only a buck a box more expensive or so. It was for the cool factor or something.

I think the .430 ones are for the .444 Marlin, although I didn't ask that specifically. He just said that the flex tip for .44 mag were coming out in the fall. You're right, they do have a cool factor about them though.
