bigcountry, hey I'm sorry for the smart ass coment, I have made another mistake, I didn't realize what you were saying, I now get your point and Im sorry.
I seem to have alot of people that tells me abuch of info that wrong, and Im only trying to do my best to figure things out, crimp ro not to crimp, powders, they all seem to have different powders, why, because in the manual, so whats the differents between varget or imr 4064 but I have both, and no answer, so Im reading and trying to figure it out.
big country I am sorry for my comment. thankyou kevin
I can't say I have seen too much bad info on this board. I see a lot of bum info on others.

Lots of good knowledge on this board. Not too overwehlming like accuratereloading where you get 100 responses all different and you have to wade thru the responses. And not too little like some of the other pages that doesn't have good traffic.

I am in a quest right now to limit my powders to 4-6 different kinds and only buy 8lb containers. I litterly have 30 different types of powders trying to find out whats best. Some I try once, and some I go back and forth.

But I am not sure if your asking, but I like 4064 best. Its almost a twin to varget but cleaner and little tiny bit faster.

No need to appologize. Its all good.

I realize how frustrating all this info at once can be. I didn't have the internet starting. And stayed on the phone with the RCBS and speer folks back in the day. They would be trying to explain something to me, and would say it over and over. And I would get frustrated.

Stick around.

Not trying to hijack or change directions here, but to feed a little on what big country said about having soooo many different types of powders sitting around....I'm in exactly the same situation. Wouldn't it be great if you could buy say...1/4 lb. of a powder you wanted to try, without having to buy a whole pound only to find out that your newly beloved .22/338 doesn't like it? That's what causes a lot ofthose cans sitting on the shelf at my place......

I saw a few years ago, I thought hodgdon was going to sell "test kits" with like 3-4 different powders. I never seen any for sale however.
