I have shot the 165gr hpbt gamekings for years out of my 06. They are great bullets, expand awsome and hold together as well. Shoot very tight groups. Try them and you will like them.

I used to have a remington 788 in 6mm for years and used it as a "loaner" rifle. I was eventually talked out of it by a buddy. It LOVED the 85 gr hpbt over Imr 4064 and cci br2 primers. It would lay a 5 shot group into .375-.400 at 100 yards anytime you picked it up (after a lil bedding, trigger, etc work). The 85 gr worked GREAT on whitetails. About 1/3 of the people I took out for whitetail wound up using that rifle instead of the magnums they brought with them. That lil rifle accounted for a lot of deer while I had it.

I have used the 165-grainersin the .308 Winchester at a MV of 2800 FPS. My impression of them is that for a cup-and draw bullet, the HPBT's are a pretty tough bullet! I have only shot whitetails with them, but they went right through, and the deer was dropped on the spot. Can't say whether they mushroomed or not, but the results, a dead deer, were quite satisfactory!!

I have used them in .308, 30.06, and even in 30-30 (had a bolt action one) and they shot well in every one of those rifles. We recovered a few of them from target practice once the snow melted from last winter and they seemed to mushroom up pretty well.

I use Sierra 85gr. HPBT's in my .243. Extremely accurate and dropped an 8pt. buck after only taking one step. The deer was about 70 yards from my stand.

Put one in a whitetail at 20 yards from a 300 win mag. Could have put a football into entrance wound. Bullet completely disintegrated. But for the 3006 class they are about right.

85 gr in .243 or .243 Ackley has been very good both for accuracy and one shot kills. .500 three shot groups are pretty easy. Yesterday's sight in run of a 24" Krieger barreled Browning Sako had three shots running between .190 to just over .300.

IMR 4350 works well for my gun.

I've been loading them in my .243 for years and have taken loads of deer with that little rifle. Loaded the 165 grfor all my 30.06's and they've been very accurate, as well as my 300 Wby. The only rifle I haven't been able to find the 'sweet spot' for is my M1A in .308. That particular rifle just doesn't seem to care for this bullet. We'll see, I'll keep trying because the bullet performs so good.
