Geekiii - I'm not sure anyone can tell you that. I've loaded for 3 different 7-08s. A Rem 700 Varmint, a Browning Micro Hunter and a Savage 11FL. All three of them used a different load to reach there potential using different powders and bullets.
The optimum loads for these 3 are as followssmallest group size in () )
Rem 700; 39 gr of IMR4895, Hornady 139 gr SP Interlock (0.19")
Bwng MH; 42 gr. IMR4064, Hornady 139 gr SPBT Interlock (0.84")
Sav 11FL; 46 gr IMR4350 or 38 gr IMR4895, W-W 150 gr PSP (0.41" -0.35")
another decent load was 47 gr RL-19, W-W 150 gr PSP (0.97")
Once you get a load that is working pretty good for you, start tinkering with the COL - magazine permitting. A good load can get even better when its optimum overall lengthfor that rifle is achieved.

I've gone thru some components while working my 700 CDL up. I tried Varget, H380 and IMR 4350. Several different bullets, including the 139 Hornadays that have shot well in some of my other .284 guns. What I finally settled on was 48.0 gr. IMR 4350 with 140 gr. Accubonds. Shoots just around 1 MOA regularly. Somedays a little under, somedays a little over. You will find your OAL is limited in the Rem. magazine, and you probably will have to settle for what you can in that department.
Like Bronko said, different rifles generally have different appetites, and it will tell you what it likes best. The above-mentioned load runs thru my chrony about 2800 fps. Start below the 48.0 and work up to it. My manual lists it as a max load.

For a number of years my pet load for my 7mm08 was a 140 grainNosler ballistic tip and IMR4064.. I can't remember the charge weight..I expect other 140 grain bullets would work as well...

Currently I am shooting the 120 grain Barnes TSX ahead of 44.0 grains of RL 15... Very accurate, flat shooting and terminal performance has been excellent on 4 whitetails and 4 hogs... Next week I hopeto see how it works on a couple of bull caribou up in northern Quebec..

Yeah it was - But that was way back when, in a rifle I used for metallic silhouette shooting. A 700BDL Varmint. But in my inexperienced youth I traded that rifle in - for what I don't remember. Actually, the group was fired at 200 meters and measured a bit under .375" center to center and was witnessed by my spotter. I still have that target somewhere.

Oh there's been a few others too that I don't want to talk about. But I guess there are a few of us in here that have done the same thing.

Like was said its imposible to tell what your rifle will shoot till you try different loads.I have used IMr 3031 and the 139sst that worked good on deer, the last 2 years I used the hornady 120 sp and 120HP they shoot great out of my rem 7/08 useing varget. With the 120's I shot one at 200yds,140yds and 100yds all dropped where they stood. The sp did more damage than the HP and all were shot just behind the shoulder.
I got a chance to shoot some 140 gr bergers in my 7 mag and 7/08 awhile back,so will try each out on a deer this year to see how they do.I guess they are out now but haven't checked for sure.If you are hunting for deer ,you may want to see how these shoot in your rifle.
