I bought a can of it but I'm hesitant to use it since it doesnt look right. I was under the impression it was a ball powder like H380 but instead the powder looks to be a mixture of a ball powder and a flattened disc like powder. Kinda looks like H380 and long shot mixed together. Anyone know if this is how the stuff is supposed to look? any help is appreciated.

thanks man! the photos were very helpful. thats what it looks like. In my AR I use benchmark works very well velocities arent the greatest out of my 16" AR but its very accurate and theres little to no muzzle flash even in the dark. im gonna be using the H335 in a 7.62x39 hunting load for the sks.

I've loaded quite a bit of it w/o a problem and not all "ball powders" are nice round balls. In fact, most have as many or more semi-flattened sphers as balls. I used to load it for an old fellow who used it in his 30/30 and swore it was the cat's whiskers.

I've found that it is a great powder for the .30-30, .32/40, .32 Win. Special, and the 7.62X39mm. If I recall, some of the "spheres" ARE flat but some are indeed round, like other ball powders.....

I just loaded it in my .204 Ruger. It proved to be pretty accurate but did not impress me in the velocity dept.
