Some time ago, I decided I just had to have a 270 WSM. I couldnt find one (im out west, they seem to be a hot ticket in my neck of the woods) so I found a 7mm WSM at a dandy price. Model 70 and all, I bought it. My goal was to get a 140 grain bullet at around 3200 fps consistantly. After trying a few other, 7828 and 4350, I saw this magpro powder. I did try it and have been sooimpressed. I am staying 3-4 grains below the max load and still cranking a constant 3350 to 3375 fps with a 139 grain Hornady sst. The accuracy of this powder surpases all the other powders I have tried. Really amazing actually. Anyway, my pal tried this in his 300 win mag and he tightened his froups up a bit, but more interestingly, is getting more fps than expected and with less range in deviation. It seems to be the powder for my WSM, if you shoot a short mag you oughtta try it! EJ

Well, I haven't had the same luck with it, but maybe I've been doing it wrong. I screwed up and bought a pound when I already had one, so I have more of it than I wanted. I am going to try to find a good load for it.

I used to have a 7RUM that love the magpro, I use it now in a .243 with 100 gr. bullets. It really is a great powder I like it alot. It has been very accurate in those calibers for me I tried it in a 30-06 and a 7mm-08 with less disirable results.
