I just bought a used RCBS Rockchucker press, a tumbler and A 5-0-5 scale. I now want to pick up a couple of good manuals and other misc. equipment in the next few weeks and I will have a great new hobby this winter. I decided to go with some used stuff in good shape and buy other items on an as needed basis. Should I get a RCBS powder measure? It would be much faster than the scale. Also, now about a hand primer?
Thanks,
CH

Hope you got a case trimmer and pilots too.......much needed equipment.
As far as the powder measure, it pretty much depends on what powder you will be loading, mainly. Flake and most ball powders will run thru easily, but the cylindrical or stick powders tend to shear in a measure like that. I have one, and I personally load all my stick powders with my beam balance, and save the measure for when I load my handgun casings
