shell stuke in the chamber

One reason I never bought "once fired" brass. So how do you really know it's once fired and not the crap brass another less scrupulous handloader sold instead of tossing out. This is why I prefered to either buy the cheapest factory ammo in the brand of brass I wanted and used it for non-serious plinking (Winchester White Box 45gr 22-250 is a favorite). either that or buy bags of new brass. I neck sized the factory brass since it was fired in my rifle, or lightly full length sized the new brass, even though it usually never needed it as all new brass should come correctly sized, but sometimes brass gets dinged up a little in transit. I'd say you can chalk this up to a hard lesson learned. Throw out the messed up handloads and start over right.
Good luck and most importantly take your time and BE SAFE. If you're in so much of a hurry that you can't take the time to do it right, buy factory ammo. Leave the mass production to the big boys, handloading is about the details.
