question about 30 cal bullets
#11
The 180 grain grand slam will hold together as well as a nosler partition. I love em. True, they are twice as much as a standard bullet, but when all things are considered, they are worth the cost. Another option for you is the Speer hot core. I have never had one of them fail on me. The hot core is poured molton into the jacket, and is bonded to it. It does not strip like some of the other bullets that I have used. I have had the Sierra's litterly explode on me, therefore I won't use them on the larger stuff. I have also had the hornady strip the core on deer.
