I think they should give you a box of tissue's when the sell you a chrony.
So true, but the ones who cry the most are not rifle shooters. Its the speed freaks bow shooters, who I see get huffy and puffy, and says, "its wrong". They really are expecting 315fps from thier brand new Allegience or whatever is hot that year.

That's the whole reason why you make a "feel good" arrow.. ultralight carbon, short as possibleand a 90 gr head, same thing they use when giving you that estimated fps in the catalogs.
I stupidly sold my crono when I package sold all my archery stuff awhile back. NOW that I want to reload, I will have to get another one a bit down the road.

I would recommend the pro chrony, but Mossyoak on here won't go shooting with me to test out his shiney new prochrony. He's too worryed about sitting on his can watchin football for the last several weekends.

I have not chronographed that specific Nosler load, but in chronographing their loads for the 175-grain bullet in the 7mm Rem. Mag., I have found the given velocities in their manual to be on the order of 150-200 FPS HIGHER than they actually are, in my rifle. I had to use 71 grains of IMR 7828 to get 3050 FPS from the 175-grain bullet in my Ruger 1B with a 26" barrel. I get 3350 FPS with the 140-grain bullet using 71.5 grains of OLD ORIGINAL Hodgdon surplus military H4831, and have not used any more recent 140-grain loads.

These days, I shoot the 175 grain exclusively - it doesn't ruin as much meat!
