shell casings picked up on the range worth a crap?

If so, anybody want some handgun shell casings? For some reason at the club I go to every range except the handgun range is kept relatively clean but there are casings EVERYWHERE on it.
.17 caliber casings are pretty common on the rifle range, though.

17 caliber? Are they rimfire casings? (like 17HMR, 17Mach2)
Not trying to a jerk or act like "captain obvious" but if they're rimfire casings they are not reloadable...and pretty cheap anyway. Only 17 centerfire I know of is the 17 Remington which isn't very popular at all. (They got a new 17 centerfire coming out though)
But heck if you see some 44 magnum, 41 magnum, or 357 magnum cases and feel like baggin' them up for someone else I'll be happy to take 'em off your hands
!!

I will not mess with shells from unknown sources.
They could have been reloaded 20 times before with max loads. Come to think of it that is the only brass I leave behind along with rimfire.

LOL with the curent price the scrap yards are paying for yellow brass and aluminum , I pick everything up even the steel stuff
I sort out whats good , use , sell , trade or give it away .
I then sell the rest for scrap
Last trip to the scrap yard I had 200+ lb of brass , 22 RF , 17 RF , berdan primed cases , and junk/split brass
And 50 lb of Blazer Al cases ( these took about a year to collect )
I also had 200+ lb of steel cases
When you add that to the 300+ lb of Al pop cans , I walked out with a fair amount of $$ for the little work I did .

Scrap yards can be your friend. I got a hold of a LOT of heavy gauge copper wire several years ago and by the end of the loading and unloading I more or less walked away with a new les paul guitar. Granted it was the cheaper Epiphone brand, it was still a high dollar (to me) instrument.
I never thought about them buying shell casings though. There's no telling how many thousands upon thousands I've either left laying in my yard or just threw away.
