I have been wanting to reload my 300 savage with hodgdon varget powder, but can't find any data on it. Do any of you guys have books that would have the info? I will be using a 150 grain bullet. If there are any other powders that you think would be better please let me know. Thanks a lot

I have their most recent loadinnnnnnnng manual and they don't list Varget for the 300 Savage. Call them and ask, maybe they have a load for it ???? Look for their 800 number.

I can't find it in any of my manuals . I use IMR 4064 in mine . with the barnes X 150 gr 39.5gr to 43.5gr max load . Its not super fast but makes a good deer round .

I reload my .300 Savage with 40gr. of 4895 and with a Nosler 150gr. Ballistic tip. I didnt see varget in any of my manuals.
