Default 140 gr. Accubonds in 7mm-08

Does anyone have any pet loading data for the 140 gr, Accubonds in 7mm-08? I'm interested in min/max data for IMR 4350 as well. Decided to try a box or two after all the remarks about how well they shoot for most people. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks..........

Mine shoots well with 46gr of IMR4350, but get occasional flyers with 48Gr. YOu are not going to get much more than 48gr of powder in a 7mm-08 brass. It will be very compressed the way it is. Good news, is with 4350, you don't have to worry much about pressure, the powder is so slow, you just have to worry about getting enough powder to get at least 2800fps.

My pet load for now is 49 gr. of RL19 and yes it is a compressed load. I had checked the speed but don’t have it handy at this time...

bigcountry..Thanks for the info---I'd been loading 4350 @ 48gr. with 139 gr. Hornady S.P. and it shot good in cool weather. Shot better with 47 gr. in warmer temps. Just wasn't sure where to look at it with the 140 Accubonds to start. I guess I'll start with about 44 gr. and see what happens. Thanks again.
Trailer..I've never tried RL 19, but I guess I'll get a pound of it and give it a try. As we all know, guns are souls unto themselves, an will tell us what they want best. Thank you for your input.

PA did you ever chrono that 47gr load? I also saw varying results. Sometiems 46gr shot better and sometimes 47. But group with either is subMOA. So I opt for 47gr of course.

bigcountry....No, I haven't put any of it through a chronograph, so I haven't been able to see velocity spread or SD. When I mentioned the temperature sensitivity, I was referring to 80-90 deg. sessions vs. 20-30 deg. weather. In either case, no obvious signs of excessive pressure were noted. It just seems to like one over the other at those points.

Pawildman

I haven't tried IMR4350 with the 140 Accubond yet (it's next on the list) but here is what I'm getting with 42 Grns of Varget. These chrono'd out at 2,738 FPS.

I'm also going to try IMR 4350 with the 140 Accubonds. I've got a load worked up with 145 Speer HotCor's on top of 48 Grns of IMR 4350 and it's running 2,800 FPS. Figure that if I try it with the 140 Accubonds Imight be able to get a bit more velocity out of them.

I just ordered a new "Chrony", and it should be here this week or next. As soon as I can get some load data worked up, I'll let you know what I'm getting. All will be out of my 24" CDL. Thanks........
