No not with the trimmer but with their old T-Mag(supposedly re-engineered) and powder thrower which was a contraption ....If it makes you feel better my RCBS trimmer is no jewel either and it is on the way out the door. I can't believe they won't back something sold at a gunshow...hmmm

DG,
If you will polish the collet with a little J-Bs, Flitz or other metal polish; it will help tremendously. You'll still get some "stickers", but it will be 1 in 20 cases rather than 1 in 3.

Trust God..........but keep your powder dry!

DG,
I just put my calipers to my collets and there is no chamfer on the rear of them, except maybe for the #22 - but that one is so small it's hard to even tell. Are the back ends of yours just rounded off some or is there a visible negative slope from the center point toward the back?
I read lots of complaints about cases sticking on these trimmers, but the polishing advice works for most - or at least improves things alot......that's how I found out about it. Give it a try, it literally only takes 1 minute to do and if it gets you through hunting season.......you're ahead of the game.

mine did the same thing, so I started putting a really strong chamfer on the inside of the case mouth BEFORE trimming.... usually this relieves enough brass so that it doesn't curl behind the chamfer on the pilot. Even if it doesn't eliminate it, it minimizes it, and makes things go more smoothly....
