DG,

I just put my calipers to my collets and there is no chamfer on the rear of them, except maybe for the #22 - but that one is so small it's hard to even tell. Are the back ends of yours just rounded off some or is there a visible negative slope from the center point toward the back?

I read lots of complaints about cases sticking on these trimmers, but the polishing advice works for most - or at least improves things alot......that's how I found out about it. Give it a try, it literally only takes 1 minute to do and if it gets you through hunting season.......you're ahead of the game.
