Default RE: 200 Gr. TSX on a Bear

Brakes do reduce recoil significantly, although the accumark that I fired provided more recoil with the brake installed than any 243 that I have ever fired.I would compare it to an average 270win.Without the brake the accumark recoilednoticeably more than my unbraked 300ultramags.The trg-s that I fired in 30-378 was even more severe.I did not mention the recoil for a braked rifle, because even a single shot from a braked rifle without hearing protection can cause significant hearing damage.I will not hunt with hearing protection, and there isn't alway time to install plugs,so I refuse to hunt with a braked rifle of any kind.
