any one use blue dot powder to load 223 remington?any favorate loads ?thanks

blue dot in a .223 load?? I dont think so!!! unless maybe in a lead cast sub sonic load other than that I just dont see it.......

Lots of Blue Dot loads over at the Accurate Reloading site. They are using Blue Dot in everything from 223 to 9.3x62. Do a search here http://forums.accuratereloading.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/2511043 for Blue Dot and they will be able help you out.

I have loaded Blue Dot in 7.62x39, 7mm-08, 6.5x55. 30-06 and 300WSM. All loads were extremely accurate and a blast to shoot. When loading large rifle rounds with Blue Dot or other fast pistol powders there is a DANGER of double charging the load. Extra care must be taken so as not to screw up and double charge a round. A double dose of Blue Dot can be deadly.

I usea 40gr. nosler bullet and 13.0 gr blue dot all you hear is a pop. Velocity is near 22 mag and hornet.
