460 S&W primer
I loaded up some 460 rounds last night with H110 and 300gr XTP.Should get a guys attention. I have on hand like 2000 federal 210 LR primers. So I realize the 460 uses LR, but hodgdon and other recommend WLR.
I didn't think anything about it. But started thinking, I wonder if they recommended that one because winchesters are notoriously tough, and federals have this reputation of being fagile and fire off easily hence some progressive press's say don't use federals. I know the 460 is a handful. And now wonder if I made a mistake putting federals in. But I use em for 450 marlins and 45-70's with no problem.
Anybody heard why most 460 loads are with WLR.
