For a 243 WSSM
First time attempting this. I am buying a Lee Anniversary Reloading Kit, says that it comes with everything but some dies.
I looked on the same website and found some "dies" and I found Lee Factory Crimp Die 243 Winchester Super Short Magnum (WSSM)
Is there ANYTHING else that you guys think I might need?
What about gun powder?
What about the bullets themselves?
anything else??

I found some powder, the Hodgdon H4350 Smokeless Powder . I don't know the difference in ANY of the ones listed (a few 100) but seems this particular one was mention on this site quite a bit. I don't know if there is a difference is there???

I might need a little help. Where did you find the reloading kit that you are looking at. I am not sure what all comes with it. Did you find it a Midway? I think all you need is the dei set but I would need to look at the kit. I will be happy to help you out.

Kit includes Press, Auto-Prime, 11 Auto-Prime Shellholders, chamfer tool, primer pocket cleaner, 2 oz case lube, Cutter and Lock Stud (Case Length Gage and Shellholder sold separately), powder scale, powder measure and powder funnel.

I just checked at Midway too. They have two versions of that kit. One comes with the Lee Reloading Manual and I think its 81.00 or something like that. If you don't have a good manual then I would suggest that you go that route as you really need a good manual. That Lee kit will load good ammo for you. Its not the best equipment in the world but its worth the money and will do the job. If you want to get into loading big time then you will want to upgade some of the equipment but this will get you started. All you need besides that kit will be the die set. The Lee dies come with the shell holder for the press. No other brand of dies that I know of comes with them. The shell holders that come with that kit are for the lee primming tool. It comes with the case trimmer cutter but you will need to order the case length gauge and shell holder to trim your cases after they have been fired a few times.

ok
so your saying that right now until I fire them a few times, I will only need
(1) the dies
(2) powder, what kind? Hodgdon H4350 Smokeless Powder ?
(3) the shells them selves, I like the Sierra GameKing Bullets 243 Caliber and 6mm (243 Diameter) 85 Grain Hollow Point Boat Tail Box of 100
Then after I shoot a few times I should get a case length gauge and shell holder??

Yes thats all you would need for now but the trimer case gauge and stuff is only a few bucks if you are ordering I would get it then. That will trim the cases and no need to measure them. Good bullets would be the 100 grain Hornady and Nosler Ballistic tips. I quess it depends on what you intend to use it for. I need to order the dies and stuff too. I don't have any components for mine yet.
