I don't really understand which one of the trimmers and case gauges you guys are talking about. There are so many gauges.

At first glance, I would suggest H-414 for powder. It appears to be a good one for the 85-100 grain bullets. Its a good powder that I really like. As for the trimmer guage, you need Item Number 613-928. Thats the catalog number but if you type that in, it should show it to you. Its three dollars and change. Thats the case length guage and shell holder and comes as a package deal. I would get some Winchester Magnum primers. Should be large rifle size Are you going to order brass from Midway as well? They should have them. You could start with a couple boxes of factory ammo and save the brass.

I just bought some ammo and after shooting them I will use that brass.

The ammo taht I bough is the BST. The cases are silver but that shouldn't matter, correct?

Thanks for all the help. This should get me set incase they really stop making the 243 wssm. But I Like the idea of making bullets that the factory doesn't make LOL

Yeah thats the primers ok. I have reloaded the nickle plated brass but don't like it as well as the standard brass. It seems like the nicle coating leaves more of a mess inside the dies. They will work for a while though. If you get some some new brass, I would just order the regular Winchester Brass. I will probably get 300 or so and that should last for a long time. Who knows, it may be around for a long time. Its just not going to be easy to compete with its little brother, the standard 243. I wish they would have had those reloading vidios when I was learning to leload. I was on my own as no other family members who lived near me did any reloading.

You can check it out but here, the two are the same price per lb. Good luck. Give us a range report when you get some loaded and try them out.
