My vote is HS-6. I can load it in all my semi pistols from 9mm, 357sig, 40SW, and 45ACP with very good fast performance. But also use it as medium load in my 357mag, 38Special+P, and 44mag. It meters real good. Clean burning.
I was going to say unique. But after I am finished with this 2lbs I have I think I am done with it. Too dirty. Doesn't meter well.

Iwill say Unique. I shoot a lot of BP, so Unique doesn't seem that dirty to me. Meters ok for me, might be a question of equipment or technique. I can load anything from .25 ACP (if I wanted to, butI don't load it!) to .45 Colt, and everything in between. Not the best choice for many cartridges, but workable in all of them. It is also very useful as a cast bullet powder in many rifle cartridges. I always have Unique on hand.

I would have to say Nobel sport AS or AO but as soon as my last 2 1lb bottles are gone its gone for good since the stuff isnt imported anymore. My next choice would be unique but it is kinda dirty so I tend not to use it much in my loads for semi auto pistols. ive found green dot to be pretty versitile and fairly clean. for my 45 acp loads I like clays, pretty clean stuff and meters well.

HDW, I can't believe it but you got me. Never heard of it.
But take a look at the HS-6. Its usually a top performer in 40SW and 9MM and such. But I have been using it for 357mag and 44magloads and works pretty good with only 100fps velocity loss compared to H110.
I have over 25 different kinds of powder. And I was looking at them the other day wondering how in the world I collected so many. I would like to drop that down to needed 4 kinds. That way I could purchase 8lb containers and not have to worry so much about lot to lot performance.
I am thinking IMR4350, H1000 (Maybe 7828), Varget (or 4064), H110 (Got to have those thunder loads), andHS-6.
