Default Info on an antique black powder pistol

Anyone familiar with "Richland Arms --Texas New Army" 44 caliber black powder pistol? It is a 6 shot with octagon barrel... It has the number 55 where the barrel meets the cylinder. The serial number is on it also. It sounds VERY antique to me, but I am unable to find anything made by Richland Arms (other than shotguns) in my 17th edition of Blue Book of Gun Values. I was made in Italy.

Thanks in advance!!

The only thing I could find was on Shotguns only.

Previous importer {untill 1986} located in Blissfield, MI..Made by various manufactures in
either Italy or Spain.
