For an impressive impact on crows, try the 55 gr. Nosler Ballistic tip. You wouldn't think a 6MM bullet this light would group very well out of 1:10 twist - but it shoots great. I load it in a 6MM-284 at 4378 fps. Turns a crow into a shower of feathers about the size of an oven.

I tried the H414 using a 85 sie BTHP and the 87 gr Hornady, this was the best group I got with it.So the H414 worked for these bullets also.

Rick my 243 is an older model rem classic I think I bought it in 1985.Have 2 classics one in 243 and 7/08,have shot 1in groups with the 7/08 @300yds,both are factory, the 7/08 I did put a rem camo stock on,and both triggers lightened.
The group @100 was a little larger but all 3 were touching, haven't tried it at 200 yds yet.
When I shot that group a guy at the range was spotting for me,he said he couldn't see but one hole so I figured I had missed the target with the other 2 shots. When we walked down to get our targets it looked like there were 2 holes in one, when I took the target down and looked at the back you could see three distintive bullet marks making a very small V.
Haven't shot much of the H414 yet so don't know about the heat, that load was 45 grs and didn't see any pressure signs but it was only in the 70 or 80 range
Below is a 3-shot group shot back in May useing H4831 and a 100 gr core-loc @ 300 yds,the bottom is the same load with the 85 gr sierra that wasn't to bad @300 either.

The Sierra 85 gr. HPBT is one of those little "sleeper" bullets that can kill everything from prairie dogs to big game. I have a load of 50 gr. of H414 that I have used in several 6MM-284's with this bullet, and gotten 3/8" groups.
