The August issue of Field and Stream has an excellent article by David Petzal on premium bullets. His use of the "Ballistic Buffalo" for testing terminal ballistics of bullets seems to parallel what I have seen in the field on a number of the bullets represented. Lots of good information here . . . .

I read the same article. It is interesting. It doesn't seem to break any new ground, though, as the results he has gotten are in line with most other similar testing. The article didn't really tell me anything new, either...as with the bullets I've always used (Nosler Partition on big animals, like Elk...and usually the Remington Corelokt on everything else) - his results match my experience. Still, an interesting and informative article, it is.
